Bisco Porcelain Etchant Gel : 9.5% Buffered Hydrofluoric Acid Gel.

The gel containing 9.5% hydrofluoric acid is mainly used for acid etching porcelain, and the bonding strength between porcelain and composite resin is increased by increasing the surface area of porcelain and improving the chemical properties of porcelain surface.

BISCO’s porcelain primers are silane coupling agents used to improve bonding between porcelain restorations and resin cements. It also protects porcelain restorations from contamination, increases mechanical and chemical bonding of resin to the porcelain, and yields greater resistance to water leakage at the bonding interface.
